There is a hunt out there for a new Reserve Currency that is not tied to nation status, and yet currencies which are not – like the Euro – struggle from the interdependencies coupled to lack of homogeneity. Understandably, the overarching financial institutions cannot get agreement on a way forward without giving away territory. And yet we now measure ourselves increasingly on our sentiment, not on performance.

Stock markets are driven by financial sentiment, not merely the balance sheet. We think it’s about time to develop a non-financial currency that we can benchmark, transact, trade, pay with, collect, barter, distribute, reward, and even bank. Yes, it’s a very big idea but long term ambitions. It represent the heart, the Weltanschauung, to which we aspire.
